I absolutely LOVE that you call for a LARGE dinner plate as a utensil. And thank you for making my stomach growl.

It's my feeding time. Wish I had this breakfast creation in front of me.

My favorite money saving shopping errand? Returning! I learned this art through a friend. I used to hate to return, and lately it has gotten very cumbersome, most stores requiring receipts during a certain period only, but I save a ton by returning things that don't fit, wrong color or I just loose the fire for once I get home :) It is amazing to me how many I accumulate during the month.

Coupon and deal shopping is an art - haven't gotten that one down yet. Will try again though, thanks Becky G. for the reminder!

Shopping together almost sounds romantic the way you describe it. And, I can imagine taking the money saved and using it to go out for dinner! My hubby doesn't like shopping that much. He does like to shop occasionally if we're going to a place like our local grocery store where there's free popcorn near the front entrance!

Becky-I love your idea of havong certain basics on hand for cooking. Your list is great. I would just add an onion and possibly some celery to the list of basics. Sue L.

Jenn
Renee M is our resident travel expert and you should email her directly @ reneem@simplicitygourmet.com

For my own 2 cents... I honeymooned in Hawaii and loved it. I stayed at the Royal Lahaina in Maui and would do it again. However, I have been to Jamaica twice and I think the value is unbeatable. I like the fact at an all-inclusive (and being newlyweds) that you do not have to do a lot of thinking, planning, driving etc. The resort helps with meal planning, budgeting (because you have already paid for everything when you leave), activities. I think it is easier to relax. If you want lots of beach I reccomend Swept Away. If you want hideaway romance tucked into the Jamaican hillside with a European village feel, i highly recommend San Souci. Hope that helps
